We've had an overwhelming response to the virtual hymn playing lessons, music theory classes, and voice classes offered through Majesty Music and the Majesty Music Academy!
We are happy to announce that Mr. Don Kruger will be teaching the next set of 3 lessons, focusing on voice. Donald Kruger (baritone, pianist, conductor, composer) is a graduate of The Juilliard School (Pre-College Division: Piano & Voice), Princeton University (BA in Music, with honors), Westminster Choir College (MM in Church Music, with concentration in Voice and Conducting), and Cambridge University (MA in Music Analysis and Composition). After graduation in England, Mr. Kruger taught at Woodberry Forest School (an all-boys boarding school in central Virginia), serving as Chairman of the Music Department, conducting choirs and teaching academic courses in music history and theory. Mr. Kruger was also the conductor of two community groups, the Montpelier Chamber Singers and the Madison Choral Society, frequently performing a capella concerts and choral/orchestral masterpieces. Later, he was Choral Director and Voice Professor at Mary Baldwin University, Staunton, Virginia. During his time in Virginia, Mr. Kruger frequently studied at Vocal Pedagogy and Performance Institutes with Richard Miller at Oberlin College and Conservatory to further both his teaching and performing activities, and also studied with Dr. Miller at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. In 2006, Mr. Kruger moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, taking care of his aging parents, directing a choir at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and teaching private voice and piano students. In 2015, he started a full-time music studio in Ormond Beach, Florida for voice and piano students (both children and adults), and in 2020 Mr. Kruger moved to the Greenville area with his wife, teaching voice and piano virtually now from his home in Travelers Rest.
Lessons will be virtual on Tuesday nights at 7PM starting May 18, continuing on May 25, and June 1. Students will have the opportunity for interaction with the class and teacher using ZOOM. Students who are unable to attend the live lessons will have access to watch the class at a later time. An email will be sent with a link to download the video. The cost of $49.99 has been reduced to a special of $39.99, and consists of three live-streamed 50-minute classes.
Instructions will be sent by email each Monday on how to login to the class, along with the Meeting ID and Password.
The class will be through ZOOM and students also have the option of using the ZOOM application on their device, or go to https://zoom.us/join on a web-browser.

1. Registration for class is through www.majestymusic.com. You must create an account or login to an existing account. Please do not use a guest account for this product. 2. Enter product number “0100007” in the store search bar in top right corner or page. 3. Add product to cart and complete checkout process. 4. Once checkout is complete, you will receive an email containing a link with the login instructions for ZOOM. These instructions will also be in your "My Downloadable Products" in your customer account.
